jgender is a place for members of the Juilliard community to trade ideas, ask questions, explore issues, share experiences, and express concerns about anything relating to gender – femininity, masculinity, sexual orientation, equality, difference, women’s rights, gay rights, feminism, politics, literature . . . whatever. It’s up to you.
jgender is an extracurricular and voluntary forum for individuals in the Juilliard community. Opinions expressed on jgender do not represent The Juilliard School. jgender is edited by Anita Mercier and Anthony Lioi. Bloggers are asked to maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. If necessary, editorial discretion will be exercised.
